Loan Thanh Le, 68, of Lancaster passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on November 9, 2022. Born in Hai Phong, Vietnam on September 23, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Phuong Duc Do and Loc Thi Nguyen.
After the fall of Saigon, Lorne was one of thousands of Vietnamese refugees who fled to the United States with their families in 1975. She built her new life in Pennsylvania with her parents and her siblings.
In 1979, Lorne married Hong Tan Lee at St. Paul’s Apostolic Church in Anvil, Pennsylvania. They spent her 43 years of marriage together and had three children. They attended Our Lady of Lavan Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and were very active in the community.In addition to being her devoted wife and her mother, Lorne was an excellent seamstress and cook. I was good at it. She also enjoyed singing and listening to music.
Lorne is survived by her husband Hong. her son, Koi. her daughter-in-law, Charlotte; Daughters Nguyen and Vi. Cory, son-in-law. Grandson, River. Sisters, Tan, Mai and Hue. Brother, Long. and several nieces and nephews.
