Impact of July storms?The disaster loan is due on December 13th

The US Small Business Administration disaster loan closes on December 13th. Anyone in a declared county affected by the severe storms and floods that occurred July 25-28 should apply for the Federal Disaster Loan Program.

Illinois businesses of all sizes, private nonprofits, homeowners, and renters are all encouraged to apply.

The Disaster Declaration covers St. Clair County, Illinois and is covered by the SBA for Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans.

Small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations in the following contiguous counties are eligible to apply for the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan only. Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, and Washington in Illinois. St. Louis County and City of St. Louis, Missouri.

The deadline for returning economic damage claims is July 14, 2023.

SBA’s Business Recovery Center in St. Clair County will remain open. Located at the Clyde C. Jordan Community Center at 6755 State St. in East St. Louis. Hours of operation are 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays.

On Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, the center will be open from 9am to 5pm.
