Billy Cook has over 9 years of experience with Residential Mortgage Services, HarborOne Mortgage and most recently with American Neighborhood Acceptance Mortgage Co.

She will step into the role filled by Linda Walker, who retired in July.

Cook graduated from the University of Southern Maine, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

Cook, who used Maine Housing’s first-time buyer program when he purchased his first home in 2008, champions CUSO’s customer-centric approach and is passionate about educating his clients. She believes that the financing process is just one of her many steps in the homeownership process and that preparation is essential.

“Complete transparency is important to our clients. Knowing exactly what they need allows them to plan and be it their first home, second home or dream home. Help them realize their dream of buying a home, whether they have it or not.

In his spare time, he is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys skiing at the Sunday River and Sugarloaf.

Lori Michaud, Interim President and CEO of CUSO Home Lending, said: “Her passion for helping people realize their dream of owning a home only strengthens our dedication to providing the best possible service and experience for both our clients and our credit union partners.”

CUSO Home Lending is a licensed mortgage company founded in 1993 and owned by the Credit Union and the Maine Credit Union League. Its main office is in Hampden.
