Carmel-Based Merchants Mortgage Announces Two Hires



Merchants Mortgage, a division of Merchants Bank of Indiana, announced the hiring of Reija Eden and Bryan Neitzelt as Correspondent Account Executives. Eden and Neitzelt will join Merchants Mortgage’s Western Region Sales Division to focus on business along the West Coast.

Eden has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry and joined the Merchants team in various positions at JMAC Lending, Newfi Lending and Carrington Mortgage. She brings extensive expertise to her new role, particularly in insurance underwriting, sales production, business development and operations. In her most recent position at JMAC Lending, Eden was responsible for recruiting wholesale and correspondent business throughout her County of Orange area. She graduated from her Institute of Marketing in Helsinki, Finland with a degree in International Business.

Prior to joining Merchants Bank, Neitzelt most recently served as Correspondent Account Manager at Northpointe Bank in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Point of contact for client questions and capital market issues. Neitzelt also oversaw new client application submissions and managed the recertification process for all corporate clients. She holds a BA in Business Finance from John Carroll University.

As correspondent sales executives for the merchant, Eden and Neitzelt are responsible for building and acquiring new customer relationships, primarily in the Western US region. A quality acquisition that continues to turn a profit in the secondary market.
