£2,000 boulder destroys Colorado home, no insurance payout

The world of the Camacho family literally Last week I was shaken when a 2,000 pound rock smashed into their house. The family lives near the hillside in Newcastle, Colorado.

Jajime Camacho said Fox 31 About the incident:

“It hit our retaining wall and then came down into our yard – our yard has a big dent – and then came in our window, hit our sofa and hit the air. and flew through the wall and crashed into our entertainment center. How did it go in my mother’s direction?

Jazime’s mother Maria’s left leg was shattered after hitting a rock. She has a long road to recovery and medical bills.

Even more concerning is Camacho’s home insurance company refusing coverage.

The insurance company claims that the rock that fell on the mountainside is considered “earth movement” and is not included in Camacho’s insurance.

A family friend set up a GoFundMe to raise money for home repairs and medical expenses in Camacho.Click to donate here Or the embed button below.

Camacho hopes that their misfortune will serve as a learning opportunity for others. Jazime told his Fox 31:

“God knows this possibility, but all I want to tell you is to check your home policy,” Camacho said. Now they impose on you that you are 100% financially responsible and that’s just a big shock.
